Support

Execli is one sign-in and one subscription covering five apps — Jobs, Budget, Fitness, Grocery and Tasks — plus the Auto-Apply Chrome extension. Whichever one you are stuck in, email support@execli.ai and a person will read it.

We are a small team, so please say which app you were in and what you expected to happen. Screenshots help more than anything else; blank out anything you would rather not send us.

Below are the answers we give most often. A good number of "that's a bug" reports turn out to be one of these.

Your account

I never set a password. How do I sign in?

Execli has no passwords. Type your email on the sign-in page and press Continue; if that address has an account, a sign-in link is on its way. If you have already registered a passkey, press Sign in with Passkey instead. The same email also carries a numeric code, so if the link was already used or has expired, type that code into the Sign-in code box and press Verify code. Links are single use and expire quickly — Resend sends a fresh pair. That screen looks the same for every address, so if nothing arrives, check the address you typed.

Passkey sign-in says no passkey was found

A passkey only exists on the device and browser where you created it, and signing in never creates one for you. Sign in with your email first, then open Settings → Security and press + Add Passkey on the machine you want to use. If you closed the browser prompt you will see "Passkey authentication was canceled", which means nothing was wrong — press the button again.

Setting up two-factor without locking yourself out

Two-factor lives in Settings → Security, under "Two-factor authentication (TOTP)". Press Set up, scan the QR code with an authenticator app, then enter the 6-digit code and press Verify & enable. Execli does not issue backup or recovery codes, so as soon as the first authenticator is verified, press + Add and enroll a second app or device while you still can.

Where is my plan, and what does paying add?

One subscription covers every Execli app, in Settings → Subscription. Free gives you all five apps with small monthly AI allowances; the paid plans switch on Jarvis, auto-apply, bank sync and the Budget and Fitness coaches, and raise every allowance. Manage subscription and Cancel subscription open the billing portal, where card changes, invoices and cancellations happen. Cancelling keeps your plan until the end of the period you have already paid for, then drops you to Free.

My AI allowance did not reset on the 1st of the month

Allowances reset on your own billing period, not on the calendar month. Open Settings and read the line under "Monthly usage": it names your actual reset date. On an annual plan that date can be months away.

Getting a copy of your data

Settings → Data & export → Download JSON builds the full account bundle straight away, covering Jobs, Tasks, Budget, Fitness and Grocery. The row above it, Applications as CSV, is your job applications tracker only, so by design it holds no transactions, meals or lists. Under Privacy & data, Email my archive sends a JSON archive to the address on your account; give it a few seconds and check your spam folder. If anything could not be read, the file names it under export_incomplete rather than quietly leaving it out.

To delete your account, email support@execli.ai and say so. We do not make you hunt for a form.

Execli Jobs

Search for roles, build AI résumés and cover letters, track applications through a pipeline, and review the job updates Email Sync stages for you.

What does the free plan include?

One AI résumé generation and one cover letter generation per month, plus three document uploads parsed into the builder. Job search, your applications tracker and the History Log have no monthly cap. Auto Apply and Email Sync are not on the free plan, so the button on Find Jobs reads Auto Apply (Premium) and stays greyed out. Settings → Monthly usage shows what you have used.

I have 60 AI Auto Apply Actions but nowhere near 60 applications

An Action is one AI step, not one finished application. Build packages spends one Action for every job in the batch, and a job you added by pasting a URL has already spent one when Execli read the posting — so that job costs two before you send anything. Re-score match spends one more. The "AI Auto Apply Actions" row under Settings → Monthly usage is the number that decides when you are refused.

"Write with Jarvis" tells me to fill in my profile instead of drafting

Jarvis drafts from your profile and is instructed not to invent experience, so it stops when the fields it needs are blank. You will see "Complete your profile first" and a greyed-out Generate résumé button. Add your first name, last name, current title and years of experience on the Profile page, then open the window again. Nothing is charged for the refusal, and years of experience of 0 counts as filled in.

My résumé is not in "My Resumes", or it is missing on my other computer

The document you edit is a draft kept in the browser you are using. It survives a reload, but it only reaches your library when you press Save. The line next to Save tells you where you stand: "Saved to …" means it matches your library, "Unsaved" means you have edited it since, and "Not saved from this browser" means this browser has no record of a save. Press Save, then open My Resumes or My cover letters to load it elsewhere.

Email Sync is not picking up any of my job emails

Email Sync is off until you turn it on. On the Email Sync page — once the extension is installed and your account is paired — the card offers a button beginning "I understand" that turns it on; the same switch is Turn on Email Sync… in the extension's side panel. After that, capture happens only in the browser that has the extension, and only for a job email you actually open in Gmail. Anything detected waits in the review queue, and nothing is written to your applications until you approve it.

The Auto-Apply Chrome extension

The extension fills job application forms from the packages you prepared in Execli. If you are reporting a problem with it, tell us which site and the link to the posting, what you expected and what happened, what the side panel said at the time, and the extension's version (open chrome://extensions, find Execli Auto-Apply, and read the version under the name).

It filled the form but did not submit it

That is deliberate, and it is not going to change. Execli fills the fields and stops. You read the page and press the employer's own Submit button yourself. Nothing is sent to an employer that you have not looked at.

It left some questions blank

It leaves a question blank rather than guessing. Anything it could not answer from your package appears in the side panel, and answering it there puts the answer on the page. For a dropdown, the panel offers the page's own choices, so the answer always matches one of them.

It did not recognise the page at all

Press Scan this page in the side panel. The scan reads the form and reports what Execli can see, what it would fill and what it would ask you — without filling anything — and you can answer the open questions from there. If the scan finds nothing, the page is probably a job description rather than the application form; open the employer's "Apply" page and scan again.

A file upload did not attach

Some forms refuse a file handed to them directly. When that happens Execli saves your résumé into your Downloads folder and opens the form's own file picker so you can choose it, then removes the copy it saved. If the picker did not open, attach the file by hand — the rest of the form stays filled.

Disconnecting the extension, or removing it

Go to Settings → Connected devices on execli.ai and revoke it; the extension signs itself out on its next request. Removing it from chrome://extensions deletes everything it stored on your device, and stops Email Sync immediately.

Execli Budget

Tracks your accounts, transactions and recurring bills, works out what is safe to spend this month, and on a paid plan pulls transactions straight from your bank.

Why does it ask for a passkey before I can connect my bank?

A passkey check runs before Execli will open the bank connection window, and again every time you use Reconnect. If you do not have a passkey yet you will be asked to create one on the spot; if your browser or device does not support passkeys the connection is refused, so switch to one that does. This applies to bank connections only. Bank sync is read-only — Execli can never move money.

My bank stopped bringing in new transactions

When your bank expires the login, the account shows a Reconnect arrow, the institution shows "Needs reauth" in Settings → Budget → Accounts & banks, and the dashboard shows a banner saying sync is paused. Click Reconnect, sign in again with your bank and confirm your passkey; Execli then pulls what it missed. A fresh pull also runs each time you open Budget and when you click Sync all now. If you choose Disconnect instead, every transaction already imported stays in your budget.

Which Budget features need Premium, and how many banks can I connect?

Connecting a bank needs Premium; on Free the button reads "Connect bank — Premium feature", and you can still use + Manual account or Import CSV. The number of banks you can link is 2 on Premium, 5 on Premium Plus and 20 on Unlimited, and the counter under the institution list shows how many you have used. A connection showing "Error" does not use up a slot.

I keep fixing the same merchant and it keeps coming back wrong

A merchant rule is only created when you recategorise a single transaction on its own. If you select several at once and change them together, those rows are fixed but no rule is saved, so the next charge from that merchant is categorised from scratch. Correct one transaction by itself to create the rule, or add the rule yourself under Settings → Budget → Rules & categories. Rules apply to new transactions from then on, not to ones already categorised.

Some transactions came in with no category at all

Categorising runs in three passes: your own merchant rules, then a built-in list of well-known merchants — both free and instant — and only then Jarvis, which costs one AI categorisation per transaction from your monthly allowance. When that allowance runs out the remaining rows are left uncategorised in the review queue and a message says so. Categorise them by hand from the queue; each single correction becomes a rule, so those merchants cost nothing next time.

Safe to Spend looks far too low, and what are "Overdue" and "Not charged"?

Safe to Spend is your expected income, minus bills and subscriptions still due this month, minus whatever is still unspent in your category budgets, minus your savings and investing targets — those come off the top, so the number never means "spend your savings". Overdue is a recurring charge from an earlier month that never showed up in your feed; it is still treated as owed and still deducted. Not charged means your bank has reported past that due date with no matching charge, so it is listed but not deducted; if you cancelled that service, open Recurring and click Mark not recurring. The per-month totals on the Recurring page are monthly averages, so they will not match what Safe to Spend reserves.

Execli Fitness

Weight trend, meals, workouts and habits.

My scale says one thing and the app shows a different weight

The big number on Goals is Trend now, a smoothed average of your recent weigh-ins; the faint dots on the chart are the raw numbers you entered. It moves slower than the scale on purpose, because day-to-day water and sodium swings are noise rather than fat. It takes two weigh-ins before the trend line draws at all. Only one weigh-in per day is kept, so weighing again on the same date replaces that day's number.

I set a faster goal pace but the app saved a slower one

The Pace slider inside Edit goal stops at 2% of your body weight per week, and your daily calorie target is never set below 1,000 kcal whichever pace you pick. When either limit is doing something, a "Rails" note appears on the Goal card. There is no setting that lifts them. The cap is worked out from your current trend weight, so it moves as your weight does.

I logged a workout and my calorie budget did not go up

That is by design: exercise never adds calories back to your daily food budget. The extra burn reaches you through the weekly check-in on the Goals page instead. Once you have 7 logged food days in the last 14, the check-in measures what you are actually burning from what you ate and how your trend moved, and offers a new number you accept with Apply new budget. Until then it shows an estimate from the formula and says so.

Execli Grocery

Lists per store, a pantry that remembers what you have, and shopping trips.

I logged a meal in Fitness but my pantry did not change

Three things to check. Depletion only runs while "Deplete the pantry from my Fitness food log" is ticked in Settings → Execli Grocery, and it only looks at meals logged after you first opened Grocery, so older meals are never applied backwards. When Grocery is not certain which pantry item a meal used, it posts a "One to check" chip at the top of Pantry and subtracts nothing until you answer; answering with Always match saves that answer. Items tracked by count rather than weight cannot have grams taken off them, so tap their level pill to move them between full, half, low and out.

I left Shopping Mode and my trip is still open

That is deliberate: opening Shopping again for that list picks the same trip back up rather than starting a second one. You can also return to it from Trips, where an open trip is marked "in progress" and has a Resume button. Nothing reaches your pantry or your price memory until you tap Finish trip and then Complete trip, and anything you did not check off stays on the list for next time. The totals in the trip header are estimates from your own price memory, so items Grocery has never seen a price for are counted as unpriced rather than guessed at.

The budget chip says "no budget linked" or "no budget limit this month"

Two different problems with two different fixes. "no budget linked" means no category in your Budget app answers to the name Grocery is looking for, so set the right name in Settings → Execli Grocery, in the Budget category field. "no budget limit this month" means the name is right and what is missing is a limit for this month, which you set in the Budget app under Budgets. Grocery only reads those numbers, so your real spending still reaches Budget from your bank and is never counted twice.

Execli Tasks

To-dos, projects and priorities.

A task I just added is not in Today or Upcoming

Today and Upcoming only list tasks that have a due date, and Upcoming covers the next seven days. A task with no due date, or one due further out, is not lost: open All Tasks in the sidebar, or the project it was filed under. All Tasks has a No due date filter chip. If you want it in Today or Upcoming, open it and give it a due date.

The reminder buttons in the task editor are greyed out

Reminders hang off the due date, so they stay disabled until the task has one — the hint under them says so. Clearing a due date also clears that task's reminders. Your default reminders from Settings are applied at the moment you set a due date, and are never added to a task you are already editing.

My reminder arrived at 9 AM, not when I expected

A task with a date but no time is treated as all-day, and its reminders are measured from 9 AM on the due date. So "15 min before" arrives at 8:45 AM on the day, and "1 day before" at 9 AM the day before. To be reminded at an exact moment, set a due time on the task and pick At the due time.

I am not getting reminder emails

Open Settings → Reminders and check that Email is switched on under Delivery channels. A task records its delivery channels when you save it, so tasks saved before you changed that setting keep the channels they had — open those tasks and save them again. There is also a daily cap on reminder emails that depends on your plan. The cap covers email only, so in-app reminders still arrive at the bell in the Tasks sidebar.

Jarvis, the assistant

Jarvis opens from the button in the bottom-right corner of every page of Jobs, Budget, Tasks, Grocery and Fitness. In Budget it is the gold ✦ Jarvis button, and it knows which Budget page you are on, so "why is this red?" and "can I afford this?" are fair questions.

Jarvis will not add or change anything

That is mostly by design. In Tasks, Grocery and Fitness, Jarvis has exactly one tool — taking you to a page — so it explains how something works and opens the right screen, and you make the change yourself. In Budget it can propose one budget change, which you apply; it never edits your budget silently. In Fitness, a meal it suggests is a proposal you review, edit and commit before anything is logged. Only in Jobs can it add or update an application and edit profile fields, and it is instructed to confirm with you first. It can never change your plan, billing details or sign-in email.

I have run out of Jarvis messages, or Jarvis shows a padlock

Jarvis is a paid feature and the free plan includes none, which is why the panel shows a padlock. On a paid plan the panel shows "Monthly usage" at the top, and Settings → Subscription shows the same counts with your reset date. One exchange costs one message even when Jarvis also navigates you somewhere.

Security

If you think you have found a security problem, email support@execli.ai with "security" in the subject and enough detail to reproduce it. Please do not post it publicly until we have had a chance to fix it.
